General information
The system is based on the desktop GIS-SYSTEM Mapinfo integrated into information system of maintenance of town-planning activity by means of technology OLE of operating system Windows. Structurally information system consists of a server and several client workstations. Documents all cartographical given and connected with them are stored on the central server of system. Client workstations are equipped with client software which will organise connection with a system server on network TCP/IP that allows to place a server far off.
Information system gives access for information viewing to unlimited number of clients and access for editing to one client at once to time. The information from server is located in the local cache placed on the client computer for acceleration of the subsequent access to it.
Besides cartographical information our product allows to store documents of any types which are distinguished by operating system Windows. Viewing and editing of documents in this case is made by external programs.
System requirements
User
IBM PC the compatible personal computer, operating system Windows 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista with established desktop GIS Mapinfo versions 7.5 or above, an empty seat on a hard disk – not less than 500 Mb.
Server
